Edwin Chase, D. Min., is a United Methodist minister, pastoral counselor and author. After fourteen years of parish ministry, he joined the Pastoral Institute in Columbus, Georgia where he founded the D. A. & Elizabeth Turner Ministry Resource Center.
A Fellow of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, Dr. Chase was the conference pastoral counselor in South
Georgia for fourteen years. While serving at The Pastoral Institute and later as director of the Family Institute and chaplain at the Methodist Home for Children and Youth in Macon, he was a columnist for the Wesleyan Christian Advocate, writing on issues related to marriage and family life.
In addition to having numerous articles published in magazines and professional journals, Edwin Chase was co-editor of the award winning book, Patches of the Quilt: True Stories from a Children’s Home. He enjoys photography, fly-fishing and traveling with his wife, Carole. They have three sons and four grandchildren. The Chases reside in Savannah.
